No Announcement Seraph of the End Season 3
Seraph of the End has captivated numerous fans worldwide. In 2015, 24 episodes were released, divided into two seasons. Since then, there hasn’t been much news about the anime. The fact that a third season of Seraph of the End hasn’t been announced is primarily due to one reason.
When the anime was released, it adapted the majority of Takaya Kagami’s manga. Despite significant attention, no sequel was announced due to a lack of source material. There simply weren’t enough chapters to adapt for another season.
Over a decade has passed, and the manga series now comprises 36 volumes. That would be enough to produce several new seasons. However, Studio Wit doesn’t seem interested. The production company has long since moved on to new projects.
Is the Sequel Ever Happening?
It is highly unlikely that Seraph of the End will be continued with Season 3. The first two seasons were released over a decade ago, and Studio Wit is now busy with other projects. Theoretically, a new studio could take over production, but we have no information on that.
Should new episodes be announced at some point, we will update this article. However, you shouldn’t get your hopes up too high. It’s best to simply read the manga, which continues the story. The second season of the anime ended at chapter 41. To find out what happens next, you’ll need to start at chapter 42.
It might be more sensible to read the manga completely from the beginning, as the anime changed some details, especially during the Nagoya Arc. After that, the manga goes far beyond the end of the anime. As mentioned, 36 volumes have already been published.
How Does The Story Continue?
Yuichiro and Mika remain determined to protect their friends, but in doing so, they become increasingly entangled in Guren and Ferid’s plans. At the same time, it becomes clear that there’s a much larger scheme behind the war between humans and vampires. Yu must also learn to control the power of the Seraph within her.
As the story progresses, we learn more about Yu, Mika, and Guren’s pasts, as well as the true cause of the catastrophe that nearly wiped out humanity. The relationship between Yu and Mika also becomes more important. The manga gradually answers many questions from the anime, while also introducing new mysteries and plot twists.
