Becoming the greatest golfer of all time: This is the dream pursued by young Gaiwan in Rising Impact. Two seasons show the young golfer’s rise so far, but the story isn’t over yet. When will Rising Impact Season 3 be released?
Football, basketball, and volleyball are popular themes in sports anime – golf isn’t usually one of them. But with Rising Impact, Netflix has made the sport popular among anime fans. The series follows a young golfer with a big dream. Two seasons have been released so far. Here’s when season 3 might be available.
Rising Impact Season 3: Everything We Know
In the summer of 2024, Rising Impact premiered on Netflix. The anime garnered significant attention and was quickly renewed for a second season. There are now a total of 26 episodes – but the story isn’t over yet. As the manga reveals, the story continues.
Whether this also applies to the anime, we don’t know. Netflix hasn’t renewed the series yet, but neither has it announced its cancellation. The project is currently in limbo. We will update this post as soon as there is any relevant news.

Possible Release Date for Rising Impact Season 3
It’s difficult to estimate a release date, as no new episodes have been announced yet. Some fans are even wondering if there will be another season at all. We think it’s quite possible, but we’ll probably have to be patient. We consider a release before 2027 unrealistic.
If you have no hope for a sequel or can’t wait any longer, we recommend reading the manga. The manga serves as the basis for the anime and its story is complete. The anime has adapted 13 of the 17 existing volumes.

What The Story Is About
Gawain lives with his grandfather in a remote area. From an early age, he dreams of reaching the top of the world in the sport in which a ball can be hit the farthest. Together with his friends, he tries out various sports.
They eventually conclude that a baseball travels the farthest. Gawain therefore decides to become the best long hitter in the world and begins training for his goal every day.
One day, Gawain meets a professional golfer named Kiria Nishino from Tokyo in the forest. She explains to him that golf, rather than baseball, is actually the sport in which a ball can be hit the farthest.
Gawain changes his goal: from now on, he wants to become the best golfer in the world. Before they part ways, Kiria gives him a driver, a golf club primarily used for long-distance shots. From that moment on, Gawain trains with the new club every day.
His grandfather also notices how seriously Gawain is pursuing his new goal. He therefore decides to send his grandson to Tokyo to study under Kiria Nishino, so that he can properly learn how to play golf.
