Seiya, summoned to a strange fantasy world, is not only incredibly powerful but also overly cautious. This doesn’t make it easy for the goddess Ristarte, who summoned the hero to her world to save it. The witty and epic fantasy series Cautious Hero: The Hero Is Overpowered but Overly Cautious, based on the light novel series, premiered in 2019. A second season has not yet been announced.
What’s the Current State of Cautious Hero?
In recent years, Cautious Hero: The Hero Is Overpowered but Overly Cautious has built up a sizable fan base. Despite this, the anime from Studio White Fox has not yet been renewed for a second season by either the producers or the streaming service Crunchyroll.
Fans are still waiting for an official announcement regarding Cautious Hero Season 2. We will update this post if any relevant news is released. When Could Cautious Hero Season 2 Premiere?
Since we haven’t received an official announcement for Cautious Hero Season 2, it’s difficult to pinpoint a release date. Unfortunately, we can only estimate at this point. However, we do know that Season 1 only covered the first two volumes of the light novel series. There’s more than enough source material to continue the story at any time.
At the same time, we also know that Studio White Fox has been busy with other major projects like Re:Zero in recent years. This has led to Cautious Hero being in limbo since 2019. Anime that are on hiatus for such a long time often never get a sequel. However, should those in charge decide to continue the series, a release in 2026 would likely be out of the question.
