The series was produced entirely without a source material by P.A. Works and released worldwide on Netflix in 2018. The 12 episodes of the first season captivated a number of viewers. However, a second season has not yet been released.
Where Is Sirius the Jaeger Season 2?
The ending of the first season of Sirius the Jaeger certainly leaves room for a sequel. However, this has not yet been officially announced – neither by the studio P.A. Works, nor by Netflix, nor by any other responsible party. We also don’t believe that this will ever happen.
While Sirius the Jaeger did manage to attract some viewers, it was apparently not a major financial success. The first season received mixed reviews (it was rated 6.7 out of 10 stars on IMDb). This means the anime is definitely not a blockbuster, and Netflix doesn’t usually renew shows like this.
It’s been almost eight years since the first season was released. Anime rarely continue after such a long time, although there are exceptions like Bleach, InuYasha, or The Devil is a Part-Timer! In the case of Sirius the Jaeger, the question is whether there would be enough interest.

How The Story Ended
Sirius the Jaeger is set in Tokyo in the 1930s. There, a group called the Jaegers hunts vampires. Among them is a young man named Yuliy, a werewolf whose village was destroyed by vampires. His goal is to acquire the Ark of Sirius, a sacred and powerful artifact.
The first season of the anime ends with a battle against Yevgraf, the main antagonist. He seizes the mystical “Ore,” the Ark, and Yuliy confronts him to end the conflict. Yevgraf is ultimately defeated, and the threat posed by the megalomaniacal vampire leader is thus eliminated.
Yuliy is the last Sirius to survive the conflict. The remaining Jaegers split up, and the story ends with several loose ends, leaving room for new storylines or a sequel. However, as we’ve already established, this is highly unlikely. Unfortunately, there’s no spin-off, special episode, or any other side stories.
